Country Director Denmark at Buro Happold

 

Martin leads Buro Happold's presence in Copenhagen, with more than 25 years of experience leading building engineering projects. His portfolio includes art galleries in Saudi Arabia, banking headquarters in Luxembourg and Beirut, and a town hall in Norway. He also supports the delivery of office, residential, and retail spaces, including high rises, across Europe and the Middle East.

 

Martin draws on his educational background and previous experience to integrate building engineering disciplines with architectural design and sustainability considerations.

 

As a member of the Decarbonization Alliance established with the Royal Danish Embassy in Poland, Martin helps connect Danish and Polish partners around low-carbon building practice, contributing technical expertise on embodied and operational carbon, energy retrofit, and sustainable design, and representing Buro Happold in the Alliance's workshops and knowledge-sharing with industry and public-sector stakeholders.
