Research and innovation

Since its inception, the Foundation has been actively involved in research and development, contributing creative ideas to projects implemented under programmes such as Horizon Europe and Erasmus+.

HerMan Green

Erasmus+

In line with its mission and statutory objectives, the foundation has developed a professional training program for heritage managers and administrators based on the GreenComp framework document published by the Joint Research Centre. The program aims to develop competencies related to sustainable development.


The project is currently being assessed by Erasmus+ program evaluators.

RESiRA

Horizon Europe

The Innovation Manor® concept, developed by the foundation, inspired an innovative project related to the energy transformation of historic buildings and the role that cultural heritage sites can play in the development of local energy communities.


The project is currently being assessed by the European Commission.

Horizon Europe

The Foundation is participating in a consortium that develops research and innovation activities dedicated to managing various resources in the conservation, operation, and maintenance of historic buildings.

In this project, we are also supporting the project leader in PMO activities.


The project is currently under development and will be submitted for evaluation in 2025.

Res2onance

Horizon Europe

The F8M Foundation developed the idea of incubating startups based on joint ventures around forgotten cultural heritage sites.


We managed the project's development and consortium-building activities with 20 partners from 7 countries.

 

The project is currently being evaluated by the European Commission.
