Term & Conditions (T&C) Heritage Innovators Day 2024

1. Subject of the Regulations

a. These regulations (Statute) determine conditions of participation in Heritage Innovators Day (Event). Some conditions of participation will be defined also in other documents, e.g. in the Event description, facility regulations, form registration form or order services related with the Event, T&C Regulations will complete these documents and will apply to the extent not regulated therein.

b. The organiser of the event is the F8M Foundation and the Rzeszów University of Technology. (Organiser).

c. If nothing else results from the Regulations, it applies all participants of the Event, i.e. people who they make registration for the Event, including on behalf of someone else or as representatives of an institution or company or who actually participate in the Event in their capacity visitors, viewers, guests, exhibitors, partners, sponsors, moderators, speakers or their representatives (Participant). WITHand the Participant is recognized each one person who she expressed I prefer entrances to the area both the site where the Event takes place and which one she stayed allowed into this area.

2. Registration and participation in the Event

a. The condition for participation in the Event is the registration of a given person via the form reporting handed over to the Organizer through the online registration system.

b. The Organizer determines in the form registration form Participant's requirements and data necessary to register for a given Event. The Organiser may refuse to register or may make a person's registration subject to additional verification, the granting of additional consent for the use of the data or a specific deadline for registration.

c. When registering on behalf of another person and entering data on behalf of another person, the person entering the data warrants that he or she has been duly authorised to register, create an account or make the declarations required for registration, and is responsible for any consequences of entering data contrary to such authorisation. Where registration is made for more than one person, the person making the registration should make separate entries for each of them (with a separate account/e-mail address for each person registered for the Event).

d. For certain types of Participants, e.g. journalists, the Organiser may stipulate special rules for registration or access to the facilities, in particular involving their registration by the Organiser itself or the use of additional identifiers confirming the right to the given services (e.g. a photograph). If a Participant is registered by the Organiser, this will be done on the basis of data provided by the Participant, his/her representative or publicly available data.

e. The Participant's e-mail address will be sent information and statements related to participation in the Event. A statement sent to such an address shall be deemed to have been delivered to the Participant who was registered using the address in question. A change of address requires notification to the Organiser.

f. The Participant's data collected during registration and in connection with participation in the Event will be processed in accordance with the Organiser's Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. Each Participant should read the Organiser's Privacy Policy.

3. Rights & duties of the Organsier and Participants

a. The Organiser shall provide the Participant with access to the relevant parts of the facility where the Event takes place and forms of participation and contact with other Participants appropriate to the nature of the Event, in return for participating openly in the Event and allowing the Organiser and other Participants to contact each other. Anonymous participation in the Event is excluded.

b. Due to the need for security, comfort and the possibility to verify the entitlement of Participants, the Organiser identifies them, e.g. by means of a list created in the online registration service. The Organiser reserves the right to control and verify the identity of the Participant and his/her entitlement to enter the facility. If the Participant does not provide all the required data as part of the registration or doubts arise as to the compatibility of his/her data with the data provided in the registration, the Organiser is entitled to control and verify the identity in another available manner, e.g. by identifying the Participant during the Event.

c. The course of the Event will be recorded photographically and by means of audio/video devices, including broadcast on the radio, television or any other means of making it available to the public in such a way that everyone can access it at a time and place of their own choosing (e.g. via the Internet). Participation in the Event is public, and therefore the silhouette or image of the Participant, taken individually or as part of a larger whole, may be intentionally or accidentally documented by photographic, audio or video means, and the materials obtained in this manner may be disseminated by the Organiser and press representatives for information and promotional purposes related to the Event, other Events and the Organiser's activity (including through websites, email, social media and in the printed press). The course of the Event may be monitored for security reasons.

d. The Organizer assumes that the Participant taking part in the Event accepts the possibility of the above mentioned recording and use of his/her silhouette or image as a participant in the Event. If, for any reason, the Participant does not accept a particular use of his/her image as stated above, he/she shall notify the Organiser, who shall then be obliged to immediately suspend the respective use or base the use on a legal basis other than consent.

e. If, in connection with registration for the Event and participation, the Participant provides the Organiser with any materials, e.g. objects, biographical notes, photographs, graphics or recordings for the purpose of using them or making them available in connection with said participation, such provision shall constitute authorisation for the Organiser to use them in accordance with the agreed purpose, including within the framework of services providing information about the Event and recording or monitoring the course of the Event as aforesaid. The Participant warrants that the use of such materials will not violate any rights of third parties.

4. Rules of order

a. Participants may only move within the premises of the venues within publicly accessible and so marked spaces and passageways, in accordance with the instructions of the Organiser and the venue manager.

b. Participants of the Event should take part in the Event openly and in person, in particular they may not cede rights related to registration or services in the Event to other persons or transfer badges or entrance passes to other persons. Assignment of rights to others will only be possible for fortuitous reasons beyond the control of the participant, upon approval of the Organiser.

C. Subject to specific terms and conditions applicable to separate parts of the venues where the Event takes place, or the Organiser's individual consent, the following are prohibited in the venues: smoking, use of electronic cigarettes and consumption of alcohol, blocking passageways and evacuation routes, use of

open flames and gas cylinders, use of makeshift electrical installations, bringing chemicals into the exhibition area, blocking access to fire-fighting equipment and evacuation routes. The conditions and location of places where smoking, consumption of alcohol or other of the aforementioned behaviours may be permitted shall be decided solely by the Organiser.

d. It is forbidden to bring into the facilities where the Event takes place: weapons, pyrotechnics and other dangerous materials, including those that could lead to fire, destruction of property or damage to the health of the participant or other persons. Except as expressly permitted by the Organiser, it is forbidden to move or remove from the venues or locations designated by the Organiser, any equipment of the venues or equipment related to the conduct of the Event. .

e. The Organiser shall not be responsible for the security of persons and property, and therefore for accidents to persons, theft or damage to property on the premises where the Event takes place, unless the damage is caused solely by the Organiser or the Organiser has committed itself to specific security measures in a separate order.

f. The Organiser has the right not to allow into the area of the facility, where the Event takes place, or to remove from the facility a person under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, persons who have not registered, and also any person whose behaviour involves aggression, breach of the rules of social co-existence, risk to personal property, health, order or public morality. In the aforementioned cases, the Organiser is entitled to report the case to the security services or law enforcement authorities. The organiser is not liable for any damage caused to participants as a result of a person not being allowed to enter or being removed from the facility where the event takes place.

5. Exhibitors

a. The right to participate in the Event as an exhibitor and to book the relevant space is acquired by making appropriate arrangements with the Organiser.

b. The location of the exhibition area shall be decided by the Organiser. Brands, advertising materials, objects and the manner in which they are displayed within the time or exhibition area are subject to the approval of the Organiser as regards their compatibility with the nature of the Event, the conditions of use of the facilities and the accepted aesthetic and technical standards. The exhibitor is solely responsible for the legality of their display, in particular advertising or unfair competition regulations.

c. The Exhibitor shall adapt the space in an aesthetically pleasing and complete manner, appropriate to the nature of the Event and the capabilities of the facility.

d. The sharing of time or exhibition space with other parties requires the consent of the Organiser.

e. The Exhibitor undertakes to carry out the necessary assemblies, adaptations and disassemblies within the timeframe set by the Organiser. In particular, the assemblies and adaptations must not interfere with the preparation of the Organiser or other participants and must be completed before the commencement of the Event and the dismantling must take place by the end of the last day of the relevant participation in the Event.

f. The Exhibitor shall return the exhibition space to the Organiser in the condition in which it was made available to the Exhibitor, emptied of all dirt and objects, with the equipment that was issued to the Exhibitor. The Exhibitor shall be liable for damage and other damage related to the use of the space and equipment. The organiser is entitled to remove dirt, objects and damage at the exhibitor's expense and risk.

g. The provisions of para. 3 of the Regulations shall apply mutatis mutandis to exhibitors, materials, objects and persons presented within the time or exhibition space. In particular, only persons authorised by the exhibitor, who will be registered at the Event

6. Final provisions and complaints

a. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, shorten, reschedule or change the date or schedule/agenda of the Event in the event of force majeure making the Event impossible or in the event of danger to the life or health of participants. In the aforementioned cases, the Organiser shall not be liable for any damages to participants resulting from the cancellation or rescheduling of the Event, including costs related to transport or hotel reservations; the Organiser is also not obliged in such a case to refund any fees/charges already paid for package reservations, venues or other services, including to the extent that they cover the costs already incurred by the Organiser.

b. Any complaints related to the exercise of the Participants' rights connected with participation in the Event may be reported to the Organiser by e-mail to fundacja@8marca.org, no later than 3 days from the occurrence of the circumstance giving rise to the complaint.

c. Any changes to the Regulations will be announced in the form in which they were originally made available to Participants, if possible, one week in advance.
