Research, conferences, education
F8M seeks to achieve its statutory objectives not only through direct action and involvement in specific projects, but also through participation in events such as webinars, workshops, panel discussions, thematic forums, specialist assemblies or policy advisory boards.
We are building our reputation as an expert in sustainable monument transformation and in using the past to create the innovations of the future.
In doing so, we are pursuing our goals of education, building public awareness and developing a network of partnerships and collaborations centred around the initiative of Innovation Manor.
Education
We share knowledge and ensure that we fuel the curiosity, competence and experience of those involved at every stage of our projects.
We build awareness of the sense of belonging between the local community and the monument.
We dispel myths surrounding monuments and their role in a sustainable society of the future.
We explain why civic engagement, awareness of individual self-determination and grassroots action are key to achieving climate neutrality and a sustainable tomorrow.
We operate in a sustainable manner implementing pro-environmental measures, inspired by new technologies and a respectful approach to heritage.
Cooperation
We promote the regions, municipalities, villages and cities where we jointly implement projects.
We cooperate with higher education institutions, research networks, local government organisations and citizens.
We offer a methodology for a sustainable implementation of revitalisation, renovation and modernisation based on the knowledge of our specialists - architects, engineers, sociologists and consultants specialising in the management and execution of complex projects.
We are piloting the creation, and in the future the implementation, of solutions to improve energy efficiency, operating within a closed loop economy, community engagement in relation to architectural heritage sites.
We bring together rural and urban environments around the idea of lifelong learning, innovation and well-being centred on the common axis of cultural and architectural heritage.
Partner of the Rzeszów Polytechnic University
Innovation needs many ingredients; creativity, diversity, curiosity, but also good partners to help create knowledge and solutions where needed.
That is why we are very pleased that, starting in 2022, the March8 Foundation has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Construction, Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology.
