F8M is part of an international consortium including, among others: Rzeszów University of Technology, Lviv University of Technology, Cardiff University, 4CF and Collegium Civitas, and Tvrđava kulture Šibenik.

Led by the Rzeszow University of Technology, the consortium has developed an original research project, inspired by the Innovation Manor concept, to develop, roadmaps to help achieve climate neutrality, increase social role and also influence the local economy. The study will be based on a group of iconic historic buildings.

One aim of the project is to develop a system for auditing and certifying historic buildings in terms of their carbon footprint.

Another aim of the project is to develop tools to analyse the conditions for carrying out a sustainable transformation of historic buildings and take the optimal path towards climate neutrality.
